In Loving Memory of Paul Chammen

For the past three Rip City seasons, the Chammen family has been a vibrant thread in the fabric of our community. Their presence in the stands, their shared passion for the game, and their warmth became a familiar and cherished part of the game-day experience. Many within our club were fortunate enough to know them not just as fans, but as friends.

Today, that community gathers in heart and spirit to mourn the profound loss of Paul Chammen. His passing leaves a void that echoes far beyond the arena, deeply within the hearts of his beloved wife, Ella, their children, and all who knew him. Paul was more than a fan; he was a husband, a father, and a friend whose kindness and spirit touched those around him.

As Ella and her family navigate this unimaginably difficult time, our collective thoughts and deepest love are with them. We hope they can feel the embrace of a community that holds them in the highest regard and stands ready to offer support in any way possible.

In this spirit of communal care, a GoFundMe has been established to help alleviate the financial burdens that accompany such a loss. The goal is to provide Ella and the children with some measure of stability and peace as they focus on healing and remembrance. If you are in a position to contribute, any level of support would be a meaningful testament to the family’s impact on our Rip City family.

Let us honour Paul’s memory by extending the same generosity of spirit he showed. In supporting his family, we affirm that no one in our community grieves alone. Our shared condolences and actions can become a pillar of strength for the Chammens, a lasting reminder that they are surrounded by love, now and always.
