Harlee Davis Madison, FL Obituary, Communications Officer At Madison County Sheriff’s Office Fl Has Passed Away
It is with profound sadness that Sheriff David Harper and the Madison County Sheriff’s Office announces the passing of one of our own, our friend and colleague, Communications Officer Harlee Davis on July 29, 2026

As a dedicated and vital member of our civilian staff, Harlee played an indispensable role in supporting the core mission of the Sheriff’s Office and serving the citizens of Madison County. From her post within our communications center, she was often the first, calm, and reassuring voice in someone’s moment of crisis, a steady hand guiding both the public and our deputies through emergencies. Her professionalism, innate kindness, and unwavering commitment to duty made a lasting impact on our entire agency and on everyone who had the privilege of working alongside her.
Harlee faithfully served the community with honor, integrity, and a deep-seated dedication. Throughout her service, she earned the sincere respect and admiration of fellow deputies, all staff members, our law enforcement partners, and the citizens she helped protect every day. She was the epitome of a quiet professional, whose excellence and compassion strengthened the fabric of our operations.
Beyond the headset and the uniform, Harlee was a cherished member of our Sheriff’s Office family. Her warm presence, her willingness to support her colleagues, and her steadfast commitment to serving others left an indelible mark on all who knew her. The halls of our agency feel emptier, and her absence leaves a void that cannot be filled.
We extend our deepest condolences to Harlee’s family, friends, and all who loved her during this incredibly difficult time. We join them in mourning the loss of an exceptional public servant and a beautiful soul. Her legacy of service and kindness will forever be remembered within the Madison County Sheriff’s Office. Harlee Davis will be profoundly missed. May she rest in peace.
