Sadie Stoesser Obituary,Car Accident Death, Lubbock County Democratic Party Precinct Chair Passed Away in Tragic Accident

Our local political community is heartbroken by the sudden and tragic loss of Sadie Stoesser, who was tragically killed in a car accident this past Monday. Sadie, who had just been elected as a precinct chair at our July County Executive Committee (CEC) meeting, was returning from Houston when the crash occurred.

In her brief official capacity, Sadie represented the energetic, grassroots spirit of our party. Her recent election was a testament to her dedication and her neighbors’ belief in her positive vision for our precinct. She stepped forward to serve, to organize, and to connect with fellow citizens—a promise now devastatingly cut short.

Beyond the title, those who knew Sadie describe a person of warmth and conviction. Her unexpected passing leaves a profound void not only in our political structure but, more importantly, in the lives of her family, friends, and all who were inspired by her willingness to engage in the democratic process at the most fundamental level.

To honor her memory and celebrate her life, a memorial service for Sadie Stoesser will be held on **Tuesday, August 4th, at 6:00 p.m.** The service will take place at the Unitarian Universalist location at **2801 42nd Street** (the intersection of Canton and 42nd Street).

In this time of grief, we extend our deepest condolences to Sadie’s loved ones. We also remember the passion she brought to our community and the reminder that service, in any form, is a meaningful legacy. Her commitment, though brief, will not be forgotten.
