In Loving Memory Of Norma Adams

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we mourn the sudden passing of Norma, a truly extraordinary woman who was the heart and soul of our kitchen for more than 13 wonderful years.

To say Norma ran our kitchen is an understatement—she gave it her passion, and her whole heart, every single day. For over a decade, she poured love into everything she created, nourishing not just our bodies with incredible food, but our spirits with her steady hand and bright smile. The kitchen was her domain, and she managed it with unmatched pride and care. In her, we didn’t just have a colleague; we had a foundation. She was the calm in the busy rush, the reassuring presence whose laughter could lighten the heaviest load.

Norma’s dedication went far beyond her work. She remembered how you took your coffee, asked about your family, and celebrated your victories as if they were her own. Her sudden departure leaves a quiet, empty space that will be deeply felt by all of us. The familiar rhythms of the kitchen now carry a note of absence, a reminder of the vibrant energy that is now so dearly missed.

While the kitchen will never be quite the same without Norma’s guiding presence, her spirit, her generosity, and the lasting warmth she shared for over 13 years at Bello Woods will remain with us forever. She wove herself into the very fabric of our daily lives, and that legacy of kindness is indelible.

We will miss her more than words can express.

A service to celebrate Norma’s life will be held on Monday, August 3rd, from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Grace Memorial Life Celebration Center. All whose lives were touched by her light are welcome to join in remembrance.
